At DLK we believe in paying it forward and actively supporting social upliftment through education.

We work with educational institutions from basic education to tertiary institutions - building capacity, supporting IT infrastructure and providing computer equipment.

We have partnered with our suppliers and customers to deliver impactful programs that support schools in under-served communities, provided services to FET Colleges in the Western Cape, and participated in initiatives to build pop-up computer classrooms.

Nantes Athletic Club Run as One Unity Race 2024

DLK Group proudly sponsored the Heritage Day Unity Race 2024, a growing celebration of unity, diversity, and healthy competition in Bridgetown, Cape Town. This year’s race was bigger than ever, attracting participants of all ages and backgrounds. DLK not only sponsored the event but also provided a water station, ensuring runners stayed hydrated. Our involvement underscores our commitment to supporting communities, promoting healthy lifestyles, and fostering social cohesion.

Nantes Athletic Club Unity Race 2023

DLK Group proudly sponsored the annual Heritage Day Unity Race organized by Nantes Athletic Club in Athlone, Cape Town. It was a day filled with excitement as runners from all walks of life gathered to chase their personal bests

Friends of Valkenburg Trust Clothing Drive 2023

The DLK Group team paid a visit to Valkenburg as part of their continuous commitment to supporting Mental Health Initiatives in 2023. A clothing drive was held in order to provide support to the Friends of Valkenburg Trust.

Nantes Athletic Club

DLK is supporting the Unity Race 2022 because we firmly believe in giving back and actively promoting social upliftment.

Playhouse Creche, Salt River

DLK Group hosted a charity golf day and raised R50,000.00 for the Playhouse Creche in Salt River. Playhouse creche is run by the Catholic Welfare and Development (CWD) – taking care of children between the ages of 4 and 5. The creche provides breakfast and lunch for the children as well as preparing them for Grade 1.

Holy Cross Primary School, Woodstock

DLK Group donated 20 computers and set up a computer room for Holy Cross Primary School in Woodstock. As a past pupil of the school, Leon Hendricks responded to a call for assistance from the then Principal, Sister Mary Quimpo.

ICT laboratory in Mannenberg & Khayelitsha Launched

SHAWCO engaged DLK Group, through the Dell Foundation to provide professional IT support and system monitoring for their Manenburg and Khayelitsha solar-powered ICT labs. These labs provide access to ICT services for children in these underserved communities.

Partnership with the City of Cape Town

DLK Group partnered with the City of Cape Town to provide Computer Literacy Training and Development for more than1000 previously disadvantaged individuals. These workshops assisted the graduates by empowering them with new skills that they have applied to finding employment.
