1. Consent to Processing:
∙ "The Candidate hereby consents to the collection, processing, and storage of their personal information by the Employer for the purposes of recruitment and employment in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013."

2. Scope of Personal Information:
∙ "Personal information may include, but is not limited to, the Candidate's name, contact details, identification number, employment history, educational qualifications, and any other relevant information necessary for the recruitment process."

3. Purpose Specification:
∙ "The Candidate acknowledges that their personal information will be processed for the purpose of evaluating their suitability for employment and may be shared with third parties as necessary for background checks or compliance with legal obligations."

4. Voluntary Consent:
∙ "The Candidate confirms that their consent is given voluntarily and understands that they have the right to withdraw consent at any time, subject to any legal obligations the Employer may have."

5. Disclosure to Third Parties:
∙ "The Candidate agrees that their personal information may be disclosed to third parties involved in the recruitment process, including but not limited to background verification services and regulatory authorities, as required by law."

6. Data Retention:
∙ "The personal information collected will be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined above, after which it will be securely deleted or anonymised."

7. Acknowledgement of Rights:
∙ "The Candidate acknowledges their rights under POPIA, including the right to access their personal information and request corrections if necessary."
